In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
